- The Wellness Fund
The national prevalence for HIV / AIDS is estimated at 28%. Parties to the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight Industry negotiated an agreement which was promulgated by the Minister of Labour on 9 July 2007. The Wellness Fund will provide anti-retroviral treatment to road freight industry employees who fall within the Council's registered scope, as well as training and education.
